Docking options: 
Marina Pigantaro lies at the N end of Lipari Roadstead The breakwater pier is for fishing boats You can dock closer to the city in rada di lipari but these platforms are open to the bay and are affected by winds and by the wake from traffic entering the city’s port.

these are the Anchorages around the islands:

Marina corta lies on the s side of Lipari town At Canneto- you can anchor off to the WSW or E of the moorings, the depths are 20m

In Punta Castagna on the N side, you can Anchor off the beach in depth between 6 and 10m

At Porticello- you can anchor off the beach in depth between 5-10m Spiaggia di vinci a small beach W of Punta della Crepazza at Valle muria you can anchor in 5 or 10m depth towards the N end, but care is needed of the reef in the S end of the bay Cala del Fico- you can anchor in depth between 10&15m at the N end. care is needed of the reef in the middle of the bay.
